Aloha friend,
July is here and not slowing down. This week, we've been on a bit of a skincare shopping spree (no regrets) and on the hunt for summer sales, and we've found a few ways to treat ourselves even more without boarding a plane. But! If you do board Hawaiian Airlines, there’s a new first-class and main-cabin pre-order dining option, featuring Chef Sheldon Simeon (and Huakaʻi by Hawaiian members to enjoy two free meals as a mahalo for their loyalty).
Below is what you need to know for the sunny days ahead.
For this weekend’s fun, we recommend filling your cooler with any or all of these.
Cheers,
The Edit Hawaii
TO SHOP
Slowtide's co-founders both call the islands home, and it shows in how they put the Hawaii Collection together. Created in collaboration with six Hawaii-based artists: Jack Soren, Brent Bielmann, Claymore Minds, Kelsie Dayna, Photo Keoki, and Sigzane Designs, each brings a distinct creative perspective shaped by life in and around the islands. Plus, 5% of every purchase goes to Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii. This towel by Kelsie Dayna is currently in our cart, and this Ala Wai Swim Team towel is too good (an “if ya know, ya know” kind of item). Browse and shop the collection here.
Honey Girl Organics has been around for 20 years, and somehow it flies under the radar. No viral posts, no cool girl endorsements, but quietly thriving with a loyal following. We’ve used the HoneyGlo Regenerating Face Serum on and off for years, love having the H2Go Stick in our bag for when our skin or lips are dry, and now we’re eyeing the Rose C Serum. The good news is it’s currently the Semi-Annual Summer Sale, so now’s the time to try or stock up on your favorites. Use code RADIANT for 20% off.
And since we’re suckers for skincare, we also just bought The Gem Set, Milky Way Exfoliating Serum, and Nova Pineapple & Turmeric Body Polish from Herbivore Botanicals. We’ve been curious about Herbivore Botanicals for a while, so when the Semi-Annual Warehouse Sale dropped, it felt like the right moment to finally try a few things. If you've been Herbivore-curious, now is your window. Use code WAREHOUSE for 60% off select items.
And speaking of summer sales, our favorite Maui-based leather brand is having theirs. All CLHEI items are 30% off, no code necessary.
Gillia, too! Get up to 70% off your clothing, swim, and accessories online and in-store (including select arrivals from our SS'26 Collection). We especially love this skirt, this top, and these shorts (pictured above). Shop the sale now through July 6.
TO DO

W Lanai by Wolfgang Zwiener is celebrating its first anniversary with fresh new menu items and a drink you'll want to order immediately: the Clicquot Float. Veuve Clicquot Brut poured over rotating sorbets. Sip on this at the breezy open-air terrace with a peek of the Pink Palace in the background. It's very much giving summer in Waikiki.
The Haven Kauai also released a new drink: its Matcha Americoco, featuring sweet coconut water from Maluhia Farm on the North Shore, topped with velvety ceremonial matcha. The timing is intentional: it's peak season, and a portion of every sale goes toward coconut rhinoceros beetle response efforts, with The Hanalei Initiative matching that donation. (You already know how real that threat is to the island's coconut palms.) The Hanalei Initiative is also behind the North Shore Shuttle and a handful of other community-driven projects helping locals and visitors coexist more thoughtfully. Good drinks, good people, good reason to get to The Haven this month. And ICYMI, read Emmalani’s guide to the North Shore.
Sunday scaries don’t exist in summer, right? Force them out by spending Sunday nights (from 4 to 10 pm) at Vintage Books for the new Girl (Guys, Gays) Dinner. Think two martinis, fries, and a Caesar salad for $50.
And after the weekend, you may want to book yourself a session at Solscape, where you can recharge with traditional sauna, cold plunge, and red light therapy—at your own pace.

TREAT YOURSELF
Don’t forget, you don't have to be a hotel guest to live like one. This month, we’re eyeing the Alohilani cabana experience in Waikiki via ResortPass. For around $40 per person, you get a private cabana and priority poolside service. Day passes cover up to 8 people and include all resort amenities. On select days, there's even a live DJ.
Over on Maui, Andaz Maui at Wailea has a Kamaaina Day Pass that includes access to five pools and the beach and complimentary valet parking, starting at $75. And for Kauai residents, look to the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa’s Happy Hour Special: Anara Spa Pass for Two, which includes access to serene garden pools, steam rooms, cold plunges, and other tranquil spaces for 50% off.
Wherever you decide to go, you can get $30 off your first order of $150 or more here.
