SPRING STYLE: THAT 70S SHOW
When it comes to fashion, on the runways, in editorials and lookbooks, it's all about the seventies. There's been no shortage of fringe, feathers and festival-ready fashions, and this throwback trend shows no signs slowing down. Lucky for us in Hawaii, this trend is very island-appropriate. After all, most of us already own beach pants, a breezy kaftan, a vintage t-shirt, oversize sunnies and/or a floppy hat. If you don't, well I've found some local brands and boutiques offering items with 70s flair—including a rad rust-colored bikini (how we do the summer suede trend in Hawaii!).
Through summer and into fall 2015, get into the groove with free-spirited favorites that look cool, not costumey.
