Aloha friend,
This week's roundup is basically permission to do whatever your heart desires: score a good deal at a new-to-you or favorite brand, learn something new at a beginner mahjong or stained glass class, or treat yourself to a five-course dinner (no occasion required). Dive in, support local, and maybe do all three—it’s been a long summer.
Cheers,
The Edit Hawaii

We’re eyeing this new JAXSEA crewneck for when the weather cools off (will it?!), and these Hawaiian Punch Pants by Matt Bruening. Swoon! The summer 2 collection will be online soon (as early as tomorrow!).
There’s still one day left to shop Aloha Collection’s 40% off sale. We especially love this mid pouch in this new print, this mini pouch for makeup essentials, and this carry it all tote (love the mix of neutral and neon).
Honey Girl Organics’ free shipping offer ends tonight. This has been a staple in our bag lately. Use code HG20.
Score 30-60% off at The Maui Mercantile’s end-of-summer sale, happening all weekend long.

Throughout September, Taverna Maui is offering 50% off lunch and dinner entrees.
This week, 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay's Culinary Director Pete Ghione hosted a five-course dinner series at 1 Kitchen—a worth-the-splurge kind of night. Every dish featured ingredients grown at Waipa Foundation, with Ghione walking the table through each course, a Waipa educator sharing the story behind the land, and a sommelier leading wine pairings all night. The next dinner is scheduled for September 23 (linked below), and $25 of every ticket goes straight to Waipa Foundation, so treating yourself also means giving back.

TO DO
We’ve all seen the tribute posts to the late great Dolly Parton, and now you can watch one live with Kelly Vohnn’s Dolly Parton Tribute at Blue Note Hawaii. Tickets to this special performance are just $30-$45, and a portion of sales will benefit The Dollywood Foundation.
It’s the last summer concert at Waimea Valley this weekend, and A Minecraft Movie is on deck for Southwest Airlines’ Sunset on the Beach in Waikiki.
TO KNOW
The Haven is opening in Kapaa and we’ll try to get details ASAP. For now, read owner/cool girl Emmalani’s Guide to Kauai’s North Shore.
