Aloha friend,

This week, we’re focusing on Mother's Day events, some seriously good food and drink news, and a lineup of happenings across the islands. Whether you're treating your mom, treating yourself, or just looking for a reason to shake up your routine, here's what's on our radar right now.

Cheers,
The Edit Hawaii

Head Downtown for the Girl Dinner at The Dotted Line. Every day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., you and your bestie can enjoy nuggets with crème fraîche and salmon roe, Caesar salad, truffle fries, a sweet treat, and a Filthy Martini (vodka or gin) for $40 each.

Treat yourself to a mai tai and a burger at RumFire at Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort, Mai Tai Bar at The Royal Hawaiian, Beach Bar at Moana Surfrider, Splash Bar at Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Waikiki Beach, or Cliff Dive Bar & Grill at Sheraton Maui. Now through the end of the month, $1 from each will support the Hawaii Farmers’ Disaster Relief Fund, which helps Hawaii farmers impacted by the Kona Low Storms.

Kauai Common Ground recently launched its Craft Cocktail & Mixology Experience, happening Wednesdays through Fridays. Shake up your routine, talk story, and learn more about the art of cocktails by mixing up and sipping on something delicious using Hanalei Spirits and locally sourced ingredients picked fresh off the farm. Reservations are required.

Taverna is taking care of kamaaina clientele: For Mother’s Day, when you purchase an entree, Mom gets one for free. And throughout May, you can get 20% off food when you sit at the bar.

And to celebrate graduation season, Foodland just launched a collection of candy lei by local artists Jana Lam, Kalani Pea, Dillyn Lietzke of PALAI, and Andrew Mau of Island Boy.
