Aloha friend,
May is nearly here, and we all know that May Day is Lei Day. It’s time to make a lei, wear a lei, give a lei! Nearly 100 years into the tradition, the celebration is as vibrant as ever. And honestly, we will never tire of seeing stunning images of traditional, modern, and forever lei that are popping up all over our Instagram feed.
Lei Day is yet another reminder of what makes Hawaii so special. We encourage you to participate in the celebration by making your own backyard flower lei, attending a lei workshop, or enjoying a Lei Day event. Below, you’ll find a few festive ones—and more—happening across the islands.
Next week, expect our beloved Mother’s Day gift guide.
Cheers,
The Edit Hawaii
