This month marks the first official Hawaiian History Month, which largely celebrates the legacy of Queen Liliuokalani, the last reigning monarch of Hawaii. We found many ways to participate in some longstanding special traditions, including many muumuu-themed events and markets. See our curated list of events below.

• We recently went to Loess Spa in Kalihi for a full-body scrub and can confirm it’s worth the trip (you must be comfortable being nakey the whole time).
