Happenings in Hawaii
Hawaiian History month, fun events, and things to know.
Aloha friend,
This month marks the first official Hawaiian History Month, which largely celebrates the legacy of Queen Liliuokalani, the last reigning monarch of Hawaii. We found many ways to participate in some longstanding special traditions, including many muumuu-themed events and markets. See our curated list of events below.
Enjoy,
The Edit Hawaii team

Throughout September, Taverna is offering kamaaina 50% off entrees, and Cafe Mambo is hosting Wine Wednesdays (30% off all bottles of wine with the purchase of two entrees).
Ginger13 recently launched its Everyday Lei collection online, and at $55, it makes a great gift.
We recently went to Loess Spa in Kalihi for a full-body scrub and can confirm it’s worth the trip (you must be comfortable being nakey the whole time). Before and after your treatment, you can spend hours in the hot and cold pools, dry and steam saunas, and detoxify in the charcoal and clay rooms.
