YOU SHOULD KNOW: RENEE OF ALL GOOD THINGS MAUI

Renee of All Good Things Maui, a mobile boutique // TheEditHawaii.com

By now we're all pretty familiar with the food truck scene, but Maui girl Renee Beitler is now offering up some serious style on board her wheels.

Renee was born in Dallas, Texas, but moved to Maui at the age of three. Her love of Maui's laid-back vibe and her passion for style combined with a childhood spent around car restoration inspired Renee to open All Good Things Maui, a mobile boutique. Her mission is to provide local, handmade, high-end clothing and accessories in an innovative way for the active island girl.

Since starting the project last fall, she's been working with many talents across the islands to offer the eclectic mix of products. Renee says she's always admired the local artisans and designers who are making it work in Hawaii. "My father's talent and ability to restore old vehicles was also a big part of my inspiration," she adds. Renee's dad had been renovating the box truck since November 2014 and together they've worked on the engine, body work, paint, interior, barn wood furniture and racks.

I also want to note. My father and I have been renovating the box truck since last November. He has done everything himself with my help. From the engine, body work, paint, interior, barn wood furniture, racks, anything you can think of at All Go…

LOCAL FAVORITES

I have always loved Imrie in Paia, but I honestly have to keep myself away from there unless I bring in a specific amount of money to spend. It is dangerous! I also really like the feel of Nuage Bleu, it's high end and easy on the eyes. I've taught my boyfriend to shop there for special occasion gifts.

For food, I love Monkeypod Kitchen in Wailea—it's handcrafted and they practice sustainability, and I work there too! Mana Foods is the best grocery store. They strive toward sustainability, support local and offer the best prices for high quality groceries. Choice Health Bar and Sporting Club of the Pacific are my favorites for acai bowls.

When vacationing on Oahu I enjoy dining at Roy's in Waikiki and Haleiwa Bowls. I've also heard really good things about The Pig and The Lady—I'm dying to check it out! (Editor's note: Yes, it's delicious!)

THE BEST DAYS ARE SPENT

With my boyfriend and our dogs at the beach with a cooler of beer, long boarding on the west side and hiking to fresh water pools. The best days are really spent taking in all that Maui has to offer and being outside!

WE SHOULD KNOW

Rue Belle is one of my favorite local designers. The designer is so unique and creative. I feel grateful to carry her collections in AGTM. I have a jewelry case specifically for Rue Belle.

Brooke Larson: Owner of Salt on the Rocks and Hideaway Swim (alongside Candice Parcher).  She motivates and inspires me with her many talents and creativity. Her branding evokes her free spirit.

Plate Lunch: The name says it all. Gregg and Corey Kaplan started Plate Lunch and they are super rad and awesome to work with! I'm stoked to carry their brand for the men that come in.

Skelefin Studios: Amanda Bowers painted the sides on AGTM. I'm extremely impressed with the outcome of her work. She free-hand painted both sides and I'm really honored to have such amazing talent showcased through my business.

Acacia Swimwear: I've been wearing these swimsuits since it first launched! The fit is perfect and the quality of the fabric is even better. I admire how they started such a successful and amazing swimwear line based in the islands.

Clhei: These leather bags are simply stunning. Designer Heidy Clawson's mission is to make sure the bags are handmade and of the finest quality, not mass produced.

Fighting Eel: I've never actually been to their store, but they really know what they are doing! I love their products and following what other awesome brands they carry.

WHY HAWAII?

Hawaii is my home. To me, Maui is like a living being that needs to be nurtured, protected and taken care of. I want to create a successful business doing what I love in the place I grew up.
