VINTAGE HAWAII AT THE BREAKERS HOTEL WITH THE 96815

THE 96815 AT THE BREAKERS HOTEL // TheEditHawaii.com

A few weekends ago I spent the day in Waikiki with my friend Nova, the brains and beauty behind The 96815, an insider's guide to one of Honolulu's hottest neighborhoods. Nova has been sharing her favorite Waikiki finds for one year this July and thought The Breakers—a rare and charming low-rise option amongst the ever-growing skyline—was another hidden gem worth discovering. After spending time on the property, I couldn't agree more!

The hotel truly captures the essence of 1950s Hawaii, so it's fitting then that the fashions throughout this shoot were inspired by old-school styles (hello, floor-length kimono from Chinatown's Barrio Vintage!). Check out the shots below and transport yourself to this tucked-away tropical paradise.
